Last weekend Nicholas and Alice got balloons at the restaurant we went to for lunch. And Nicholas very quickly lost his up into the depths of the great blue sky. It turns out that the restaurant he and I went to for dinner tonight on our way to pick Joe up at the airport also gives out balloons when you leave. As we left I reminded Nicholas why he had to let me help him:
S: Remember, because otherwise your balloon will go up in the sky and you'll lose it.
N: My balloon go up in the sky and then Mommy fly up in the sky and get it and give it back to me.
Um, no, kid. On the other hand, this may be as close as I ever get to being Supermom!
