She is getting more alert and starting to have some facial expressions and sounds that are more baby-like:
As of today's doctor appointment, Elizabeth has regained enough weight to be back at her birth weight. Even though I know that this is the normal process and that the goal is for them to be back at birth weight by 2 weeks, it makes the first two weeks of breastfeeding (which are the most painful and discouraging anyway) feel so futile. But she is exactly on track and doing wonderfully.
