BIG boat

Nicholas is supposed to be napping, but instead is keeping up an entertaining line of chatter over the monitor. Right now he is going on and on and on about the BIG boat. Yep, it's almost cruising time and we've started laying the groundwork. And the way Nicholas says "big" it is like he is impressed and overwhelmed with its size. Just wait until he sees the cruise ship. Last year he didn't care much about the boat and focused entirely on the "guk" (trucks) that were loading luggage and the "up-up" (elevators). It will be a whole different experience this year.

He has now switched to "Baa baa black sheep" and is getting almost every word and is pretty good on carrying the tone too. I'm impressed. And his pronounciation of "sir" may be his new cutest thing. I need him to sleep, but for now I'm enjoying just listening to him from the rest and comfort of my own bed. Rest and childcare all at once--just what the doctor ordered.
